Lesson Plan

Procedures of teaching

I started by teaching the concept of multiple, for example, 2x3 the first factor is the groups and the second factor is the number in each group. Then I taught multiplication table of 9 by addition 9 dinosaurs origami per one time. The students can put the dinosaurs together. When I put the dinosaurs, I asked them about "How many groups on the board?", "How many dinosaurs in each group?", How can you write in multiple sentences?" , and "What is the answer?". Then we play the pair game. Students have found the pairs between multiple sentences and the answer for that. After that, I assigned the worksheet to students.

Teaching method and techniques

I explain about the knowledge step by step and the game for students practice multiplication table of 9 that not only practice the knowledge but also practice the teamwork and strength of hands muscle.

Classroom management

The students pay attention in the beginning. Only some of them answer my question well, but someone doesn't answer at all. So I try to ask the student who speaks less. They excited when they play the game, and participated in helping teacher add the dinosaurs.

Material

There are many materials in this class include pocket wall, dinosaurs origami, and number cards to help the students understand easily and interested in the lesson.

Problem and solving

Problem: Procedures of teaching is incomplete. I forget to teach using fingers counting method.
Problem-solving: Make sure the procedures of teaching and manage the time clearly in each activity.

Problem: Students didn't understand the rule for playing the game. They played many times.
Problem-solving: Explain the rule to students easily.

Problem: While students play the game they get help from another group, so it's not fair from the other group that can't find the winner.
Problem-solving: Tell them the reason why we can't find the winner and control the game better without cheating.
